Douglass:
My name is Douglass Williams. I'm the chef and owner of MIDA restaurant in Boston. I'm collaborating with Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan International Airport.

Douglass:
"Mida" loosely means "generosity" in Italian. I think I've always been inspired by the theme of generosity. And that has taken me all over the world.
Douglass:
That generosity is included in the way we say hello, the way we say goodbye, the way we pour wine. And I want to bring that to the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. I chose Boston because I saw a lot of opportunity. I saw people. I saw diversity. What's great about being a chef in this area is that we have all of our purveyors so close. Our meat purveyors are right down the street, as well as our vegetable providers. We have small farms just 20 minutes away in Western Mass. We're right on the water.
Douglass:
I've been able to find my own paths and my own ways throughout the food scene and all the magic that the city has to offer.
Douglass:
Traveling the world has shaped my culinary approach in every way. That exchange of cultural currency has allowed me to not only receive new information and new techniques and new ways of thinking about food but also to give in any way that I can.
Douglass:
I hope that visitors at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club experience a feeling of relatability, of warmth, and of culture, no matter where they're going in the world.
