Nigel Barker, Photographer, Filmmaker, Cardmember.

Nigel:

Hi there. Nigel Barker here with Chase Sapphire at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Right in the heart of it all is Chase Sapphire on Main, providing exclusive benefits and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for cardmembers. Let's check out what's going on, shall we?

On screen:

What is the Sundance Film Festival Experience?

Nigel:

Well, hanging out with all the cardmembers here, I've heard people tell me that the energy at Sundance and at Chase Sapphire on Main is so high that they're really excited to be here.

On screen:

Over 45,000 people attend the Sundance Film Festival each year in Park City, Utah.

Krupali Patel, Chase Sapphire Cardmember.

Krupali:

Very, very excited to be here, and it's snowing outside, which makes it even better.

On screen:

Carly Robyn Green, Recording Artist, Cardmember.

Carly:

Creative people from so many different industries come together. And it's not just about film anymore. Of course, music, with the presence of VR, it's a really nice opportunity to meet creatives in so many different fields.

On screen:

Reginald Veneziano, Actor, Cardmember.

Reginald:

Having a film festival like Sundance in Park City is so incredibly important because it really builds a bridge between people who are just starting out. That's the magic of Sundance.

On screen:

How to Avoid the Lines.

The Chase Sapphire Box Office lines give cardmembers access to secure tickets to the most anticipated films.

Nigel:

The Chase Sapphire Priority Box Office is a great perk for cardmembers. It's fantastic to actually get yourself access to some of those really hard-to-get-into screenings.

On screen:

Michele Levy, Chase Sapphire Cardmember.

Michele:

The people here were very willing to help out, a little different experience when you're a member. And I got a ticket, so I'm really happy about that.

On screen:

Brett Holmberg, Chase Sapphire Cardmember.

Brett:

The fact that I'm at Sundance, which is something that I've wanted to do for so long, and finally getting to realize that dream. Really just kind of surreal, the whole thing.

On screen:

Where to Learn About the Films.

Moderator:

This is The Little Hours, and I'd like to bring out the casting director.

On screen:

Five different film panel discussions took place at Chase Sapphire on Main during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Nigel:

Another great perk at the Chase Sapphire on Main is the Indiewire in Conversation panels, basically film panel discussions with the cast and crew. If you are truly a movie buff, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it's rare.

Krupali:

I've never attended something like this. It's a Q&A. It's a great way to kind of explain Sundance, as well.

Moderator:

Were you anxious about making sure that you were going to be able to get what you want in that period? That's really short.

Director:

That's all as a director you're doing. You're just always where you're not getting what you want. That's, like, literally the job description.

On screen:

Audience laughing at answer.

Krupali:

I think it's great that Chase Sapphire puts on these events. It gives you access to things I never thought I'd be able to do and to see.

On screen:

What is for Lunch?

Nigel:

Wherever you are in the world, you really get a true taste of the place when you try the local cuisine.

On screen:

Leonard Altabet, Chase Sapphire Cardmember.

Leonard:

The taste of Park City has the best restaurants in Park City. They're all five-star restaurants. It's wonderful coming here to eat their food.

On screen:

Taste of Park City allows cardmembers to sample cuisine from area restaurants such as: Wahso, Grappa, Chimaya & Ghidotti's.

Nigel:

This year, Richard Blais, the award-winning chef, is here.

Richard:

Wow, look at this crowd.

[Cheering]

Richard:

All right.

Nigel:

Try his food. It's fantastic. To watch him make it is amazing, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Richard:

This is a modern technique, so it cooks at a precise temperature.

On screen:

Patti Judd, Chase Sapphire Cardmember.

Patti:

I think it's a great experience to have chefs that are coming from around the country and hear their take on cooking.

Richard:

Roasted elk, huckleberry sauce, and pine smoke. Whoa, look at that, guys. Yes!

On screen:

Richard removes a lid as smoke escapes.

Patti:

He kind of got his game on Park City-style and did some elk.

Richard:

Everyone, thank you so much.

Sundance has just become not only a place for filmmakers but a place for artists. And it's just this amazing community where people who are thinking outside of the box or thinking incredibly creative can get together and share ideas. For me, to be at Sundance, I'm just a lucky boy.

Nigel:

People who come to Sundance, really listening to them and seeing the excitement in their eyes is contagious, and that's what Sundance is all about.
